To round off your cruise, you will call at the port of Basel at the end. There you can switch between the present and the past in just a few seconds.

Amsterdam
Amsterdam is one of those cities that every traveler should have visited at least once in his life. No wonder, millions and millions of tourists flock to the city on the canals every year to enjoy the flood of sights and cultural offerings. The best way to discover Amsterdam is by taking a boat ride along the canals or a walk along the unique canals. Art lovers will be immediately drawn to one of the world-famous museums, such as the Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk Museum or the Van Gogh Museum. Party people will find their happiness in the nightlife and red light district De Wallen. And beer drinkers should by no means miss the Heineken Experience.
Arnhem
Arnhem is the capital of the province of Gelderland in the Netherlands. The city is located on a short section of the Rhine, the Nederrijn. It is surrounded by peaceful natural areas, such as the Hoge Veluwe National Park. There you can hike and bike to your heart's content. The city has its reputation as a fashion city. Large shopping centers and boutiques in the Modekwartier invite you to stroll. A great destination for a day trip is the famous Burgers Zoo, the most beautiful zoo in the Netherlands. Alternatively, you can visit one of the many museums: the Museum Arnhem inspires with modern art, the Wijnmuseum is located in one of the oldest wine cellars in the Netherlands. The Open Air Museum and the Dutch Water Museum are also worth a visit. A panoramic lift in the Eusebius Church takes you 73 meters high above the city. From here you can enjoy a great view over the whole city.
Düsseldorf
RRhenish lifestyle between tradition and modernity - Düsseldorf inspires with diversity! Here art and Kultour lovers get just as enthusiastic as shopping enthusiasts, here the Media Harbor impresses with contemporary architecture as well as the historic Old Town. The old town makes Düsseldorf with more than 250 cozy pubs to the "longest bar in the world". There tastes not only the traditional Altbier! Not may miss a stroll along Königsallee, the world-famous strolling mile - or rather a visit to one of the numberrich sympathetic flea markets? And in the middle of it all: lots of Green and the Rhine with its riverside promenade to breathe easy . No wonder the VIVA Cruises family feels so right at home here!
Coblenz
Koblenz already impresses with its unique location at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers. The first port of call when visiting the city should therefore also be the so-called "German Corner" with its imposing Kaiser Wilhelm monument. Since 2002, it has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Upper Middle Rhine Valley". A beautiful view of Koblenz and its two rivers opens up during a visit to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress. Perched 120 meters above the Rhine, the 16th-century fortification is the second largest fortress still standing in Europe. Spectacular is already the ascent in a gondola of the cable car..
Rüdesheim
The picturesque town of Rüdesheim is located directly on the Rhine in Hesse and has many attractions, such as the famous Drosselgasse, where there are numerous wine bars, but also a castle and a torture museum, where medieval torture instruments and the history of the Inquisition are exhibited. A cable car goes up to the Niederwald Monument, which is located above the town. From here you can take a beautiful hike through pristine woodlands and then come to the chairlift that leads directly to Assmannshausen. This is also located on the Rhine.
Speyer
The 2000-year-old Speyer resembles a single open-air museum: Salian history at every turn. The cathedral city on the Rhine is proud of its favorable location in the heart of Europe. The many-towered silhouette of the mighty red sandstone cathedral towers over the city. Anyone visiting the cathedral should also descend the steps to the imperial crypt. The most important sights of the old imperial city are almost all located in the city center, which makes it possible to admire them during a nice walk through the city. Those who are tired of walking can stop in one of the countless restaurants and cafes.
Strasbourg
From the first minute, the French Strasbourg enchants with colorful half-timbered idyll, Wilhelminian splendor architecture,new trendy neighborhoods and exciting museums. Even a short visit has a long-term effect thanks to the many inspirations! In the picturesque district of La Petite France, the moment can be enjoyed perfectly with a tarte flambée, before the imposing cathedral with stained glass windows and archways invites you to travel back in time to the Gothic period. Those who are free from giddiness should definitely take the 332 steps up to the viewing platformhere to see the Vosges and the Black Forest in the distance.
Basel
Basel is a city of particular contrasts. In the city on the border of Switzerland with Germany and France, visitors experience the unique combination of more than 2000 years of history with modernity. In the cityscape of Basel, historical buildings from the 15th century complement each other with the most modern architecture to form an exciting, yet harmonious overall picture. The city's main landmark is the 800-year-old Basel Cathedral. Directly behind the cathedral, one can enjoy a magnificent view of the old town and the famous Mittlere Brücke (Middle Bridge) over the Rhine from the Palatinate. The Red Town Hall and the Spalentor are also not to be missed during a visit to the city. The MS VIVA ENJOY is the third newbuilding of VIVA Cruises and invites with 95 cabins up to 190 passengers to feel-good moments on board. On the Diamant Deck there are eight luxurious suites, which invite with 24 m² size and a French balcony to enjoy the beautiful view. On the Diamond Deck as well as on the Ruby Deck there are 15 m² 2-bed cabins, which have a French balcony. On the Emerald Deck, the 2-bed cabins have windows that cannot be opened. All cabins are perfectly equipped with flat screen TV, included mini-bar, Nespresso® machine, beauty products from RITUALS®, hairdryer, safe, air conditioning, shower and toilet and leave nothing to be desired.
