History can hardly be more vivid and eventful: This 7-night cruise is all about historic cities on the Rhine. In Frankfurt, we pull in the lines and set off from the business metropolis to Aschaffenburg, before heading to Mannheim on day 2 and thus from the Main to the Rhine. In Mannheim, among other things, the second largest baroque palace complex in Europe awaits you with the city palace.

Further it goes in one of the most beautiful cities in France, namely Strasbourg. The famous cathedral and the excellently preserved half-timbered house architecture make it immediately clear why UNESCO has designated the entire city center as a cultural heritage site. Via Rüdesheim, the home of Riesling, the tour finally continues to Bonn, where numerous "Must See's" await you in addition to the Siebengebirge, the Beethoven House or the Old Town Hall with its rose-gold facade. About Koblenz it goes after historical city stroll or a ride with the cable car to the fortress Ehrenbreitstein on the penultimate day finally back to Frankfurt.

Frankfurt

Connected to the Danube via the Main-Danube Canal, Frankfurt is one of the most unique cities in Germany. After all, it is the only city with a skyline of skyscrapers. A view of the metropolis from the observation deck of the MAIN TOWER is a very special experience. However, Frankfurt is not only a very modern and busy city, but also has a lot of history to offer its visitors. For example, the Römer and the Paulskirche are among the most famous historical sights in Germany. And when it comes to art and culture, Frankfurt is also an absolute hotspot. Aschaffenburg

The city of Aschaffenburg is located directly on the Main River and is known for its beautiful Johannisburg Castle with its large gardens. High above the city you have a beautiful view over the Main valley. The Pompejanum is a replica of a Roman villa and can be visited just like the castle. The park Schönbrunn dates back to the 18th century and was lovingly laid out and maintained. With a Mainschifffahrt one gets to know the sights of the city from the water side.

Mannheim

The city of Mannheim is located on the Rhine, directly opposite Ludwigshafen in Baden-Württemberg. The castle is the landmark of the city and is located not far from the river. But also the water tower and in February the street carnival are known for the city, which is located only a few kilometers from Heidelberg. Particularly attractive are the squares in which the city center is laid out. The city center is large with numerous shopping opportunities and enough cafes to stop  .

Strasbourg

From the first minute, the French Strasbourg enchants with colorful half-timbered idyll, Wilhelminian splendor architecture,new trendy neighborhoods and exciting museums. In the picturesque district of La Petite France, the moment can be enjoyed perfectly with a tarte flambée, before the imposing cathedral with stained glass windows and archways invites you to travel back in time to the Gothic period. Those who are free from giddiness should definitely take the 332 steps up to the viewing platformhere to see the Vosges and the Black Forest in the distance.

Rüdesheim

The picturesque town of Rüdesheim is located directly on the Rhine in Hesse and has many attractions, such as the famous Drosselgasse, where there are numerous wine bars, but also a castle and a torture museum, where medieval torture instruments and the history of the Inquisition are exhibited. A cable car goes up to the Niederwald Monument, which is located above the town. From here you can take a beautiful hike through pristine woodlands and then come to the chairlift that leads directly to Assmannshausen. This is also located on the Rhine.

Bonn

Bonn is an independent city in North Rhine-Westphalia, which is the former capital of Germany. The banks of the Rhine are inviting for a walk and offer well-developed inline and bike paths. The old town offers traditional stores and branches of large brand chains. Not far away is the cathedral Münster. Bonn is considered a university city. Coblenz

Koblenz already impresses with its unique location at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers.
