Dear VIVA Cruises Guest,

to ensure a safe, worry-free trip and smooth embarkation, please note the following information:

Travelers 12 years and older who have already been fully vaccinated (second vaccination at least 14 days ago), have received a booster vaccination or have been sick with Covid 19 within the last 28 days and a maximum of 3 months and have fully recovered, do not require a separate test for check-in on board.
Please present official proof of vaccination or recovery along with your official identification document upon arrival.

Children between the ages of 5 and 11 will need either proof of complete vaccination against COVID-19 OR a negative test result (PCR test max. 48 hrs. or antigen rapid test max. 24h, no self-test). Guests under 5 years of age are not affected by the requirements.

All travelers who have not been vaccinated for health reasons require a medical certificate to travel with them and must also present a negative rapid antigen test result from a certified test center at check-in from a certified test center at the time of check-in. Immigration information

Slovakia: For German citizens (and citizens of other EU and Schengen countries), entry is permitted without testing, vaccination or recovery. Nevertheless, please carry your 2-G proof with you at all times. Furthermore, FFP2 compulsory indoors and at a distance of less than 2 meters outdoors.

due to the current political situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against travel to Ukraine.

We know that you want to feel safe and comfortable at all times during your trip. VIVA Cruises is monitoring current events on a daily basis. At the moment, neither trips to the Danube Delta nor other trips offered by us are affected by restrictions. VIVA Cruises does not organize trips to or through Ukraine in general. Your safety as well as that of all crew members on board is our main concern. Because of that, we will always keep you up to date on the latest developments. Should the conflict escalate or lead to restrictions affecting the Danube or other areas, we will inform our guests and travel agencies immediately.
